For a growing number of Lutherans, there is a very special Saturday that happens some time in September. It's a day where, country-wide, they celebrate the fun of a certain cult-film classic. You know, the one with Princess Buttercup, Wesley, Montoya and all the other inconceivable characters. Yes, that's right. They get together for the annual Beer, Brats and Bride fest. It's a great time for all, and no one has to storm the castle to save the girl.
Blurt Shirts is proud to provide a couple designs just for Beer, Brats and Bride.

If you haven't stopped at our store lately, then you've missed out on our new look. Snazzy, hip, and contemporary, we've taken the spray paint/graffiti look of the Blurt Shirts logo and applied it as the theme of the store. Less of a corporate look, and more "wow". After all, that's what are blurts are about anyway. They are not corporate. They are meant to express the way you feel. Hence, our new motif is irrereverent and slightly anti-establishment. Just like you.

For all of our fans that enter blurt-shirts.com through our blog, we recognized that you weren't seeing some of our featured design pages. We tinkered with the site a bit this past weekend, so you can now see four old, but new to you, pages. Two of these pages - Kids Stuff and Politics - feature designs for these very specific sections of our store. The Other Shirts section highlights several other sections in the store, and the Other Products section presents to you our other non-wear "wares": mugs, mouse pads, and the like.
If you have been hesitant to shop at the Blurt Shirts store, but have enjoyed the sampling of products you see from our blog, you can now get an even larger sampling of our designs at these new pages. We hope that the additional samples will whet your appetite to visit our store, look at the full ensemble, and buy something that you like. My daughter, Amy, is very creative and talented. Not only is she showing aptitude and appreciation for drawing, jewelry making and sculpting, but she also has a pretty good eye for clothing and fashion...at least on paper. Blurt Shirts would like to welcome you to Amy's Art, a whole new section of the Blurt Shirts store. In this section, we currently present a series of fashion stencils created out of colored paper and pattern designs, but coordinated and accessorized to her tastes. (The design featured here is a beachware design.) After taking a look, we think you will be as impressed as we are.
Each design has a customizable area for your own text, so you can make the product have special meaning for your daughter or granddaughter. We hope you enjoy these designs as much as we do.

Over the next couple months, Blurt Shirts is expanding its merchandise line beyond simple blurts. Along with some simple sketches from the founder, his daughter is contributing stencil designs for girls. No, not the kind of stencils you use for ceiling borders. You'll have to stop back in a week or so to see the posted designs.

If you regularly look at the Blurt Shirts news page, you may not know that we recently made some changes to the rest of the site. The home page now redirects you to our store front, since that is where most folks want to go.
Does this mean we eliminated the Favorites and About Us pages? No, they are still available. You can get to them from the News page here, or from the About Us page on our store front.
Watch for changes to our store, coming soon. And be sure to follow us on Twitter and Facebook.

Zazzle's site upgrades are terrific! There are a couple things that could use some tweaking, but overall, the improvements are great.
What does that mean for you? It pretty much means that site navigation will change to take advantage of Zazzle's new features. We are converting over the store to rely primarily on store "section" icons near the top of the home page, and at the top of each store section. This means a couple more clicks for you, but much easier navigation overall.
Please bear with us. Because of Zazzle's changes, all of our store changes will not happen overnight. We will always make sure that all of our designs and products are still available to you, and we will continue to add new designs as we make over the store.

Under the category of "what took us so long?", Blurt Shirts finally expanded their product lines to include, well, everything under the sun. As of August 8, practically all designs are now available on most of the product types available on Zazzle.com.

Shirts - now available on stickers, magnets, aprons, dog shirts, and mouse pads.

Shirts and Bumper stickers - selected designs are now also available on mugs.
Going forward, each new design published by Blurt Shirts will be included on these products, offering you a better shopping experience. We hope you enjoy the additional purchasing choices being made available.
