1. Blurt Shirts site/blog - up & running!
If you're here, then you know it already. The Blurt Shirts website and blog are up and running! Not only will the site contain a shirt design gallery, but this blog will contain the monthly newsletter and other blog commentary. Most of the "other commentary" will be, well, blurts. Nothing long, but certainly not superficial. We at Blurt Shirts are looking forward to reading your comments.
2. The next big election is not in 2012
After President Obama was sworn in and sworn at, you probably wanted to take a break from politics. Au contraire! This is when the big dogs step up to the plate. Four hundred sixty-eight of our five hundred thirty-five Congressmen are up for re-election in 2010, and I say, “Fire them all!” After all, there are 535 of them, and millions of us. I think we can take them!
So here we are, January 2009 with our eyes toward the future. The lawmakers are the real bozos, and the ones that need to be replaced. Blurt Shirts will help you spread the word convincingly with its line of The Solution 2010 designs. After all, its Congress that writes law, not the President, thus it is Congress that needs the ax.
Did you hate W? We’re fine with that. Do you already hate 44? That’s okay, too. Don’t wait four years to make a difference; plan on making a difference in 2010. And let everyone know it!

3. Glad it's over!
A season of hope, of change, of…playoffs? Yes, that is what I hoped would happen for my favorite NFL franchise, the Cleveland Browns. The world knows what happened. The team had great expectations to start the year, only to fall flat on their faces and get raked through the mud. Hope springs eternal for Browns fans; it always does. Change followed in the form of a displaced and replaced head coach, and a displaced (and soon to be replaced) General Manager.
Does that mean I think the team will improve next year? I don’t know, I got my crystal ball off the discount rack at WalMart; it works as well as Braylon Edwards catches passes. I do know my team has higher draft picks than 80% of the teams in the league. Maybe the new GM will make a good choice or two…or five.
